The Role
As Contract Administrator, you’ll work closely with our Project Managers and wider delivery team to support the commercial side of our projects, from procurement through to final accounts. You’ll play an important role in keeping projects commercially controlled, accurately documented and on track.
Key Responsibilities
– Managing head contract and subcontract administration across projects
– Preparing, reviewing and issuing subcontract agreements and scopes of work
– Managing variations, progress claims and payment schedules
– Cost tracking, forecasting and budget management
– Procurement of trades and suppliers in line with project programmes
– Ensuring contractual compliance and accurate project documentation
– Supporting project reporting and maintaining project management systems
– Assisting with risk management, value engineering and commercial negotiations
– Building strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients through clear and straightforward communication
About You
– 2+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry
– Experience across Aged Care, Education, Community or Residential projects an advantage
– Solid understanding of Australian standard form contracts (AS4000, AS2124, etc.)
– Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage competing deadlines
– Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
– A genuine team-first mindset. You’ll be working closely with our PMs as part of the wider delivery team
